Excavation and construction of elevator/lift

The client wanted to improve access in their 3 storey home, to do so they opted for a small lift to be built between the ground floor and first floor. The beautiful house sits on a hard clay base, which has limited access. The team hand dug the area, removing 60 cubic metres revealing the floor level required. The house piles were supported and reconstructed to open the floor area. The project has required cohesive teamwork, needing blocklayers, waterproofers, electricians, gibstoppers, painters, custom rimu door/trim makers and carpetlayers. Bruce managed the entire project and supplied his drainage skills as well as building, sailing smoothly through each and every inspection.
